Biography:
Like many artists, my path to becoming a full-time artist was interrupted by a different career as an Entomologist. Still during this time, I continued learning and developing my art skills by taking a
drawing class and being involved in the West Texas Watercolor Society (WTWS). I was fortunate to be able to take workshops and study under Leo Smith, Tom Hill, Jo Taylor, Robert E. Wood, Christopher Schink, Don Andrews and Arne Westerman. The wealth of knowledge and instructions from these tremendous watercolorists has helped me in developing my own style and love of creating a work of art.

In 2019, I retired from my position as an entomologist and am now able to fully devote my time to my artwork. My wife and I have moved to the Memphis area in 2022 and I have become a member of the Artist’ Link Association (AL), Bartlett Art Association (BAA), and Memphis Germantown Art League (MGAL). Since being a member of these art associations my artwork has been accepted into their Exhibitions and shows.
