Biography:

Iwona Rhodes- I was born in Krakow and raised in Gdynia, Poland.   Bartlett, TN is my second home where I live with my husband,  and a bunch of beloved rescued pets.   I have a degree in Art Education, and I teach art at The Compass Community Schools in Memphis, TN. 
My artistic goal is to invite people to take an inspiring journey that is only limited by their imagination.-

My current painting collection “Seaside” expresses my longing for the ocean.  I moved to Memphis in 2001. It is my second home, but I was raised close to the beach in Gdynia, Poland and a part of my heart has never left.  I am missing the seashore which has formed me as a person. 

This contemporary collection is a very personal visualization of my emotions.
